Privacy Policy

GioTerminal ("we", "us") is an educational market-research terminal operated by an independent developer. For privacy questions, email Joelarosa1980@gmail.com.

• Account data — email address and an encrypted password hash (we never see your plaintext password).
• Session data — auth tokens stored in your browser to keep you signed in.
• Preferences — watchlists, journal entries, scanner settings, and UI choices you create inside the app.
• Basic analytics — anonymous usage events (page views, errors) to improve reliability.
• We do not collect — payment details, brokerage credentials, government IDs, or biometric data.

Data lives in a managed backend (Lovable Cloud, powered by Supabase) with encryption in transit (TLS) and row-level security so each user can only read and write their own records. Backups are retained by the provider on a rolling basis.

• Lovable Cloud / Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Market-data providers (e.g. Alpaca, Finnhub, Unusual Whales) — read-only quotes, news, and options data. We do not share your account info with them.
• We do not sell or rent your personal data.

We use first-party cookies and browser local storage for:

• Keeping you signed in (auth session)
• Remembering UI preferences and dismissed banners
• One-time onboarding flags (e.g. chart hint)

No third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies are set.

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California), you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email Joelarosa1980@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Account and journal data is retained while your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your account and associated rows within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal or security reasons.

GioTerminal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date at the top.
